Your 2024? It’s Time to Wrap it Up!

Dec 26, 2024 | Deepening self knowledge

If you’ve had a rough year, you may be eager to say good riddance to 2024. If the year went exceedingly well, you may be content to relish the final days. 🎉 Regardless of where you fall, closing the year with thoughtful reflection is a powerful way to fully internalize and learn from another trip around the sun. ✨

For me, I reflect on these questions:

🧐 What were the biggest highlights?
🧐 What were the low points?
🧐 Who did I meet that I want to stay in touch with?
🧐 Who did I lose touch with and want to reconnect with?
🧐 How did I grow?
🧐 Where do I want to grow next?
🧐 What and who am I grateful for?
🧐 What do I want to stop, start and continue?

To help you answer these and other questions, we created the My Year End Review—it’s our gift to you for being part of our global community. 🎁 Download it now and make it your own. (It’s gratifying, I promise!)

My birthday falls between Christmas and New Year’s, so I’ve always had or taken this week off. It’s a gift to myself (and my Equipt Women colleagues, too!). This week is my time for a much-needed digital detox. That means I will close my laptop for 10 days and put my phone away for extended periods of time. My days will primarily be analog, unstructured, and spontaneous. 🌸 I’ll do various activities to relax, reset, and recharge.

👉 Wake up with no alarm
👉 Read multiple books in a cozy chair
👉 Go to the movie theater
👉 Take a dip in the frigid Pacific Ocean
👉 Take longer hot showers
👉 Go to hot yoga
👉 Play board games and jigsaw puzzles
👉 Walk to places I don’t typically go
👉 Make cookies and give them to neighbors
👉 Organize drawers and closets
👉 Donate unused clothing and household items
👉 Sort through pictures and reminisce
👉 Write thank you notes to friends and family

These simple activities soothe my soul. What soothes your soul? And how will you soothe yours so you’re energized to embrace the year ahead with enthusiasm? 💪

Here’s to bigger and better possibilities in 2025.

You’re equipt to soar,

Kelly
