Success in college is relatively straightforward with a syllabus for each course, transparent grading systems, and pre-established requirements to graduate. Fast forward a few years into the working world and things aren’t so clear.
We get it. And, we’ve got your back with SHOW.ME – the first-of-its-kind career success roadmap to help you develop new skills, increase your confidence and navigate workplace dynamics.
Consider this: careers typically span 40, 50 and increasingly up to 60 years. So, having a good foundation–EARLY– is key to success and fulfillment. It could have an exponential impact over the course of your career, including your earning potential.
Based on decades of experience running companies, hiring talent, coaching teams, teaching courses and curating hundreds of books, we identified 6 key pillars for building a successful and fulfilling career.
Self, Habits, Others, Workplace, Money and Emotion
Our SHOW.MESM concept is featured in each newsletter and incorporated in every Equipt course and coaching program. Here is an overview of the FREE life-long tools you can download and apply to your life right now.
One of the most important steps in career success and leadership development is investing the time to truly know yourself. Do you routinely reflect on who you are and where you want to go? In this career pillar, we focus on Values, Strengths, Vision, Brand and Impact.
Establishing empowering habits
Our daily habits feed our well-being, future opportunities and path to success. Are your habits healthy, empowering and sustainable? In this career pillar, we focus on Curiosity, Networking, Boundaries, Prioritization and Self-Care.
Strengthening relationships and impact with others
Communicating skillfully with others takes practice. Do you have the courage and know-how to handle tricky situations? In this career pillar, we focus on Feedback, Assertiveness, Influence, Conflict and Trust.
Navigating workplace dynamics
There are unwritten rules and unspoken expectations at work. Do you have insight into your company’s culture so you can pursue opportunities instead of hoping they come to you? In this pillar, we focus on Culture Fit, Sponsorship, Opportunism, Resilience and Managing Up.
Learning to talk money
Money is often a taboo topic that makes a lot of women uncomfortable. It’s easy to avoid altogether, but doing so is to your own detriment. Do you know if you’re equitably paid? Do you have a firm grasp on how to negotiate a promotion or a raise? In this pillar, we focus on Attitude, Compensation, Negotiation, Budgeting and Investing.
Developing emotional agility
Expressing emotion at work and in relationships is part of being human. Are you equipt to handle difficult moments calmly, coolly and confidently? In this pillar, we focus on Awareness, Self-Regulation, Empathy, Listening and Motivation.
“I am more equipt…
…to self-advocate to my manager for merit increases and promotions.”
…to be myself, ask for help, and no longer compare myself, my skills and my experiences to other people.”
…to advocate for myself because I’ve learned more effective ways to think about my professional life, skills, and needs.”
...to have a career and role I'm thriving in. I feel empowered by my inner confidence and knowledge to make decisions that are right for me - today and in the future.”
...to dream big because of the valuable insight and support I've gained from the Equipt Women group of mentors and peers.”
...to advocate for myself and navigate the workplace easier, because of the strength and confidence I’ve gained through the Equipt program.”
...to embrace my ambitions because I have developed clarity and confidence in myself to take charge of my personal and professional life.”
...to speak up in meetings and ask powerful questions because of the weekly learning sessions that EW thoughtfully put together.”
...to take control of my career and connect to my "strongest self" because of this incredible group of women who have shown me that not only is it okay to set standards for my career and working environment, it's my responsibility to myself.”
…to seek feedback because feedback is the breakfast of champions!”
…to leverage my strengths because I understand how to identify them and use them to create a positive impact in my professional and personal life.”

What is the difference between Momentum and Coaching Pods?
Momentum is an 8-week live online course featuring expert instructors, group coaching, Q&As, peer connections, and role-playing. This guided learning experience helps participants build critical skills and confidence through interactive lessons and practice.
Coaching Pods provide 5 months of small group peer-to-peer development for participants. In these facilitated cohorts of diverse professionals, participants will connect with peers, gain effectiveness, and build confidence through shared learning. Coaching Pods empower participants through an ongoing community experience centered around their goals.
Both Momentum and Coaching Pods are designed specifically for aspiring professional women seeking career advancement and transformation. You can learn more about our offerings here.
Do you have any age restrictions?
When we first launched, our intent was to create programs for those in the first 10 years of their careers. However, we've realized the ideal participant is not defined by age alone. Momentum is a foundational program ideal for emerging talent, individual contributors, and those seeking future roles of influence, impact, and leadership - irrespective of age.
Do you have any gender restrictions?
Our programs were uniquely designed by women for women to address obstacles that often prevent women from advancing their careers. We provide a personalized, intimate learning experience where women can express their inner voices, challenges, and future desires.
While these programs have been designed for women who are individual contributors and aspiring leaders (below the director level), they can benefit anyone who wants to advance their career with intention and be part of an encouraging and supportive peer group.
Do you offer private cohorts?
At this time, we offer Momentum and Coaching Pods as private cohorts exclusively for companies. This means we work directly with business leaders to deliver the programs internally for groups of 20 or more employees. If your company is interested in learning more about bringing Momentum or Coaching Pods to your employees, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you offer a free trial for Momentum and/or Coaching Pods?
No, and here’s why. Momentum and Coaching Pods are designed to cultivate clarity, connection and commitment in a confidential setting over a period of time. They are not intended to be experienced on a drop-in or trial basis. It's also not a great experience for the women who have signed up for the full commitment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens. We’ve created solutions that help participants and organizations navigate these changes and allow us to preserve the learning experience for every cohort.
We allow for one deferral that is redeemable within one year of the deferral request. In this one-time offer, participants can defer to a future session of the same program at any time.
If a participant chooses to withdraw from the program, a full refund will be given provided the request occurs in writing before the end of the first week. For example, if a session begins on January 24th, deferral requests must be made by Monday, January 31st.
No withdrawals or refunds are possible after the first 7 days of the program.
Does this program offer a certification?
Yes, after submitting a Game Plan, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of every program.
Do you offer 1:1: Coaching Packages?
Yes, we do offer personalized 1:1 coaching packages with an ICF-certified coach. If you are interested in learning more about our 1:1 coaching services, please contact email@example.com.
